From new microbrewery drops, to a mini-Chinese banquet, and an indulgent sake dinner, Ghanem Group venues have a fun calendar lined up for June.

Boonah Brewing Co Drops New Brews South East Queensland’s newest microbrewery, Boonah Brewing Co, is dropping a new brew in June, as it quenches thirsts in the Scenic Rim. Boonah Brewing Co opened in May with an open-air beer garden, next door to the Commercial Hotel Boonah, which is being lovingly restored by Ghanem Group. Inaugural brews on tap were a robust Aussie Mid-Strength (3.5%) and a punchy alcoholic Ginger Beer (5%). Coming down the lines in June is a Crisp Lager (4.8%) – all available exclusively at the hotel and brewery. The family’s nearby farm in Tarome supplies fresh spring water used in brewing, and the spent grain is sent back to the farm to feed cattle, creating a full circle operation to make local residents proud. Grab a table in the newly renovated bistro, or the spacious beer garden and enjoy an excellent range of pub classics, ‘Commie Classics’, sandwiches, salads and Detroit-style, deep-pan pizzas, accompanied with tastes from the brewery.
